Taellinu Aichi was born someplace on the North American Continent before the collapse. She immigrated to the Cydonia Colony on Mars at a very young age. The decreased gravity on the Cydonia colony caused Taellinu to develop into a very tall and thin individual. This led her to becoming a noted model system wide for a period of time. She grew up the daughter of a very wealthy family and was afforded every privilege. Her father was the CEO of the Adeptus Corporation, which was, at the time the leading cybernetics firm in the entire system. And her mother was a professor at the University of the Cydonian plains. The education she received was top notch, in everything from old Earth Literature, to Cybernetics. She was given the best education and things. But she found no meaning in all of the money, education, or attention.

When she came of age she joined the Ascension Military, a native organization that arose on Mars to help defend it from Raiders. She was a founding member of The Knights of Cydonia, a high risk retrieval and rescue group. Tae received training in Field Medicine, conventional and Nanites, and Field Engineering, conventional and Nanite Based. A high aptitude for tactics and squad command was sensed by her superiors, so she was sent to OCS immediately. After OCS she quickly rose through the ranks quickly attaining the rank of Vice Admiral and was given command of the AMS Muse.

While on a Combat operation, a Planet side squad fell under heavy enemy fire. Showing great concern for her pinned squad she led a rescue mission herself. While the squad was saved she suffered extensive injuries requiring cybernetic replacement. This also earned her several high honors including the Star of Terra. While most of her body was beyond help she survived thanks to the brilliant doctors at the Cydonia Medical center. While most of her body either healed or was replaced, she now completely lacks a digestive tract.

While the injuries sustained should have precluded her from further Military service, she chose to stay in. Although due to a light AI she has trouble making rash decisions that will put her into the line of fire. While she will still go into combat to help a pinned squad, she will no longer go into situations where overwhelming enemy force is detected. When she does so however she must overpower her AI to do so.

One of her most unselfish Acts was to aid in the construction of Chasma City. The Construction of Chasma city was beset my raiders and theives. Tae had her ship parked in a Geo Synchronous ove rthe construction site, until a Military base, and adequate defenses could be constructed. Once leaving became an advisable action, a statue of Admiral Aichi was Constructed in what would become the town center, to commemorat ethe woman that fended off countless raiders so that what would eventually be millions of people would have a place to live.

Due to her actions she received acclaim throughout all of the Inner colonies. This led to a notoriety that pirates and Riders wanted to test. While not showing an overly aggressive tendency, she would enter negotiations with those wishing to attack her forces. While the enemy forces we occupied with negotiations, she would have two other sections of her fleet break off secretly and surround the bargaining table with snipers as it were. This tactic led to many surrenders and negotiations, earning her the nickname of Vice admiral Aichi, the Diplomat. When she would commit a fleet to battle she always made sure to outmatch her opponents so severely that they would either retreat or die quickly. Her treatment of prisoners was also legendary; she would accommodate them like they were guests, and try them under the laws of the Mars colony, all the while trying to turn them over to her side.

Taellinu was visiting earth on a diplomatic mission when the Collapse began to occur. After the Market began crashing and looting began, she was put in charge of a defense force to help quell the rebellions. But once the bombs started to fall it all went to hell. At first the chain of command got destroyed and then desertion occurred over a period of time as soldiers left to find their families. This left Taellinu alone in the field for the first time since survival training.

After the Collapse Taellinu found herself on the former North American Continent, someplace near what was Bozeman, Montana. While trying to survive she was found by a Halcyon patrol. After a scan of the barcode tattoo on her cheek her identity was confirmed, and was installed as the Captain of Halcyon Security.

As Captain of Security she does not tolerate corruption or embezzlement. Severe and quick punishments are doled out effectively. But she knows when to crack the whip and when to let things slide. She is a warm and friendly personality that is always concerned with the morale of her underlings above her own happiness. A quirk that has survived from her admiral days is that if anyone under her command is suffering financially or, emotionally she will help them with all resources she has the power to use. She makes a point to know all of those under her command, and greet them. While her orders are to be obeyed, she does not follow the tradition of titles too strictly. While underlings may call her by name on matters not concerning important business, with matters of duty she requests to be called Captain or Admiral. Also she does not wear the uniform of Halcyon, clinging to the past she wears her Vice Admiral uniform. And her side arms, and only weapons, are standard Ascension military issue, instead of Halcyon.

The Null-Space device that Taellinu uses is standard issue for all Ascension Military Flag officers. The device stores its items in an alternate dimension. The main purpose of these devices is to provide supplies for all troops under an officer’s command. As such the standard compliment of such a device is enough rations for a whole army for 3 Months, and variable amounts of ammunition. However because of the amount of time Taellinu has lived on her own her ammunition stores are only enough for her. But her Ration stores remain intact. Having said that, the Ascension Military rations are equivalent to 4 star dining.

Most recently Tae has served as Captain of Halcyon Security. During her time, she had become a friend to the Community, saving the lives of Peacekeepers dying of Radiation poisoning, to trying to help get citizens back on their feet financially, to trying to save the life of a subordinate that was under attack by the brotherhood, even though she was incredibly outclassed and faced mortal peril.

While on a mission to return a rogue operative Tae was subsequently captured and tortured by the man. Throughout her torture Tae maintained the composure that had earned her the reputation she acquired as an Admiral. She never faltered in her composure and tried until the end to get the man back onto her side. Throughout the whole ordeal she never once begged or pleaded for mercy. She died as an officer and her death will be remembered as such. In her own words before she died, "Death is the threat of cowards, go down with Honor and embrace it."

Tae was subsequently cloned, giving her a fully organic body for the first time in a very long while. After the cloning process it was discovered that she had been replaced and shoehorned into a low security tier. This has Tae rather irked at her present situation and at her superiors. For the first time in a long time Tae Finds herself at a low rung, and unable to handle it properly Tae, tries to continually give orders, and perform actions usually perceived as insubordinate. While she is still Loyal to the Corporation that Plucked her from the wastes she feel wholly betrayed.

After she was captured by the Red Dragons, her loyalty to the company became even more shaken, as no rescue attempt would seem to have been mounted by the remainder of the Security Force. This could just as easily be attributed to her ability to 'Ghost', to not be tracked at all, if she does not want to be. While these actions would be expected of a corporation with thousands of employees, Tae feels severely insulted that nobody would seem to have cared about her. Even more so after she was returned to the company in dire need of medical care, and once the care was given it was almost too late.

While Tae cannot in good conscience turn her back on the company, due to the fact they saved her, and she has a legend to uphold, Halcyon may have placed a very dangerous knife in their own back, or are at least gripping the blade's edge barehanded.
